Is garlic good for your skin? The answer is yes, but, do you know how to use it?
Unfortunately, most people are unaware of the right ways and techniques to use garlic on their skins, they think that rubbing half a clove of garlic daily on their damaged skin is more than enough to get rid of pimples, inflammations, and even acne, but trust me, this is not very efficient and it will reduce the symptoms only a little!
If you would like to take full advantage of garlic, you need to use it the right way, and this is what I’m going to show you in this post.
I’ve already talked about the benefits of garlic in many of my previous posts, and I highly recommend that you read them, but for now, I’m going to talk about the right way to use it:
- The first step is to eat garlic for your skin!
Most garlic lovers, when they are suffering from skin issues, acne, pimples, or just scales and inflammations, are going to think that the first thing they need to do is to rub garlic on their skins!
Well, you are wrong if you do this, it’s not only very damaging for bacteria and funguses, but rubbing garlic on your skin, without knowing what you are doing, is also very damaging for your healthy skin cells as well!
You have to understand that garlic contains very powerful anti-inflammatory compounds, these are also very powerful against your skin and are going to reduce its protection and even damage its hair follicles, this can cause itchiness, more inflammations, and even leave room for bacteria to invade and penetrate your skin deeply!
I don’t want this happening to you, that’s why I always advise my readers to eat garlic first when it comes to their skin issues!
Let’s say for example that you are suffering from acne, well, the obvious thing to do is to rub garlic on your spots and pimples! Right?
However, this is not only very damaging, but it’s also extremely hurtful for your skin because you will not only get rid of the bacteria, the bad ones causing your pimples, but you are also going to get rid of the good ones, the bacteria responsible for protecting your skin.
So, the first thing to do is to eat garlic on a daily basis, and as mentioned in many of my previous posts, I want you to crush three cloves a day, mince them a little, and then swallow with lots of water, preferably do this before going to bed.
After just four consecutive days of use, your skin will start to clear out very quickly.
- And the second step is to rub garlic on your skin.
And I only advice you to use this technique when the first one doesn’t work!
Indeed, I don’t advise people to rub garlic on their skins a lot, as mentioned before, garlic is very powerful and can cause so many inflammations and skin problems, that’s why I only advice you to use garlic for your skin, however, if this doesn’t work, then, you need to rub garlic, but only using this technique:
First of all, mince one garlic clove and then add to it some few drops of olive oil, mix everything and wait five minutes, then apply this powerful garlic oil onto your skin, if this doesn’t work, which is extremely unlikely, then, you can cut one garlic clove into half and rub it gently on a very small area of your skin, then, cover using a band aid for at least two hours, then, rinse using cold water.
This technique is also very efficient, but if you abuse it, if you use it for more than five consecutive days, then, you only have yourself to blame because it can damage your skin a lot!
Please, if you need more help when it comes to rubbing garlic on your skin, don’t hesitate to ask me in the section below, I will be very happy to help you.
