Today, I’m going to talk about a very important beverage that most people, if not the majority, simply neglect and even are not aware of!
Yes, I’m talking about onion and garlic tea!
I know that a lot of you have never heard of this beverage before, but trust me, it can change your health and your life for the better, and in this post, I’m going to talk about its amazing benefits and most importantly, how to prepare the healthiest and also the most beneficial onion and garlic tea.
Now, let’s talk about its amazing benefits:
- The first one is lowering high blood pressure.
I’ve already talked about this in many of my previous posts, but in general, Allium family vegetables are amazing when it comes to high blood pressure, they will lower it to healthy levels without affecting your metabolism and without causing side effects, in fact, garlic is especially known to lower high blood pressure because it relaxes your arteries and blood vessels which is going to permit healthier and much more fluid blood irrigation to your vital organs.
- The second one is preventing cardiovascular problems.
Because both garlic and onion are very rich in antioxidants, they play a very important role in limiting DNA damages and also, most importantly, in limiting the oxidation of cholesterol molecules, these oxidized cholesterol molecules are the ones responsible for sticking to your arteries and blood vessels and causing arterial blockage and clogging!
And let me tell you that these are the main causes of cardiovascular problems and issues, from strokes to even heart attacks!

First of all, start by mincing one garlic clove, then, using a stainless steel tea infuser, add to it two teaspoons of minced onion as well and submerged everything in warm water for at least fifteen minutes, then, add three tablespoons of lemon juice and drink.
It tastes horrible at first, but when you get used to it, it tastes okay in my opinion.

Never exceed one cup a day or you will suffer from terrible and unhealthy blood pressure.
- Should you drink onion and garlic tea daily?
Although I see no harm in doing this, I really think that you should drink onion and garlic tea once a week, it’s much more beneficial if you eat these vegetables rather than drink them, especially raw.
