First of all, I’m no expert at Ayurvedic medicine, I’m just a person who loves reading, and today, I will talk about the uses of garlic in Ayurvedic medicine, and how you can use it as well.
I’ve talked to many of my friends about Ayurveda, and although they seem to be convinced of many of its aspects, some still have lots of doubts about it, so take the following information with a grain of salt, especially that many aspects of this traditional medicines are still being researched and studied.
Anyway, here are the things I have found about using garlic Ayurvedic medicine:
- The first use and benefits of garlic in Ayurveda is treating infections.
I have long studied the effects of garlic on our body, yet, I haven’t studied Ayurveda a lot, but from what I know and from what I have read so far, garlic is used mostly in treating infections and significant illnesses in the body.
Indeed, garlic is used in Ayurvedic treatments, especially when it comes to skin infections, and sometimes, even bacterial or fungal problems , and it works amazingly well.
Indeed, there are many scientific studies talking about the benefits of garlic for clearing infections, and it seems that Ayurvedic healers have found this long time ago.
- The second use of garlic in Ayurveda is in purifying the body.
Garlic is also said to purify the body.
Most Ayurvedic practitioners think that garlic is a good detoxing agent, and by consuming it in large amounts or by doing garlic enema for example, you are going to get rid of many toxins in your system which will give you strength, health, and lots of energy, which is absolutely true, and I really think that if you use Ayurvedic garlic, then, you are going to get high amounts of energy daily while also preventing dangerous diseases.
I have to be completely honest with you, I don’t believe in shamanism and other “out there” techniques for healing the body, but when it comes to using garlic in Ayurveda, I am 100% confident that it will work.
- The third one is increasing vitality.
Because Ayurveda focuses on exercise, meditation, purification and yoga, vitality is very important and will result from building a healthy and protected system, that’s why garlic is used extensively in some practices.
It is also thought that garlic is going to bring vitality to your body because it will add protection to your intestines and your stomach, which is also scientifically true.
- And the fourth use and benefit of garlic in Ayurveda is maintaining good digestion and excretion.
I have already talked about the benefits of using garlic for digestion and for also getting rid of constipation and other bowel problems, especially hemorrhoids.
Indeed, it works, and it gives amazing results, so, if you would like to use garlic for digestion and extortion purposes, then, you have nothing to worry about, however, I don’t want you to use a lot of garlic oil, as it tends to be extremely concentrated and sometimes even hurtful on our skin, so, just be careful of what you are doing, you should also understand that garlic is powerful medicine, it’s not just food! You should not abuse it because you may develop allergies and other symptoms.
